Some links to interesting websites
It is never easy to decide which websites
to promote and which not. It is all quite a personal
thing you see. I might enjoy websites which you don't.. However,
if you like this website I think there's a big chance that
you might like the ones I mention as well... :-) And if you
have a "must know website"yourself, please feel free to send
me an e-mail!
"Smallstreams.com";
this is more a community than a website and a nice
one too!
With lots of interesting information
and forums. Not only American but worldwide info and
visitors. Most visitors are really kind and helpfull.
This is a special
place
indeed
and
I visit
it quite often
myself.
If you like to fish for wild trout
in smallstreams....this is the place! |

"Wildtrout.org";
A charity dedicated to the conservation of wild
trout in Britain and Ireland through the protection
and restoration of their habitats.
Now, if that isn't a great
goal to have! A professional website made by (and
for) people who prefer wild trout to the dumb stockies
in their natural environment. This is interesting
reading and it might trigger you to donate some money.....I
hope
it does! |

|
"Delphi
Lodge"; For those in search of the real Ireland -
wild country, beautiful mountain scenery, lovely
beaches, luxury accommodation, fly fishing for salmon
in crystal rivers, superb food and total peace -
stay in a beautiful country house and fishing lodge
on the
Delphi Estate in Connemara.
The Delphi Estate is one of Ireland's hidden treasures
offering guests superb standards of accommodation.
Set in a spectacular, unspoilt valley and surrounded
by Connacht's highest mountains, it is the perfect
hideaway.
I have fished here a couple of times myself....it's
defenitely worth a visit..... |

 |
"The Scotch
Whisky Association"; A web
site is intended as a source of information to those
interested
in learning more about Scotch Whisky. It is not a
sales site.
Plenty of information about
my favourite drink..... Go and have a look yourself! |
|
|
"taste-of-scotland.com"; A Guide to the Best Places
to eat and stay in Scotland
A warm welcome to what has come to be regarded
as of the most extensive and authoritative guide
to good eating in Scotland. (At least, that's what
it says on the website...)
If you travel to Scotland and you are going to be
"on the move", visit this site first. |

 |
"Guiness.com"; Well,
what can I say about this website? Hhhmmm, I just
love Guinness or, as my late friend Hans de Groot
use to say; "a large Irish cappucino".
Lots of information about this
great stout and a nice online shop full of "goodies".
Cheers! |
