The painting at the top is created by my good friend Ton Lindhout.... It is a watercolor of someone fly fishing the German river Kyll in the month of May. For many (Dutch) fly fishermen the Kyll has been (and still is) a very important river.
For example; it was the first proper river I ever fly fished when I was 16 years old.... Since I was too young to drive a car I went on my bicycle...after all, it's just over 300 kilometers from my home :-) For more information, just visit his website!
The painting below is painted by my older brother Remko van den Berg. This particular painting is based on an under water photograph of a big fat rainbow trout which I caught at a saltwater lake called 'Oostvoornemeer' many moons ago. Remko has his own website as well. (He does paint great Kingfishers as well)
